you wrote the variables the wrong way.

Your writing: "debug"
TIA syntax: #debug

Best way to fix is to delete the underlinded variable and to start to write new and TIA will offer variables then pick the one you need.

How do I convert those projects to libraries??

DOD666:
Move the functions into the project pibrary.
Create a global library and update the project library into the global library.

If everything is indirect you should be able to move into the library as types. If not you can move as master copy.
A type is linked to the project library and a change in the library can then be updated to the project.
